Our Philosophy On AI Interview Training

Stirring your intuition is our ultimate goal.

An AI model has a semantic space built from words, associations, and patterns of thought.

An individual’s reflection interacts with that space. The discourse between them can move beyond action into a combination of cognition, intuition, emotion, and creativity. It’s often heard with words related to personal insight like realized, understood, recognized, learned, adapted, and appreciated.

In simple terms:

  • Action tells the AI what an individual did.
  • Communication tells the AI how they worked with others.
  • Meaning-making tells the AI who they are; Their identity.

A narrative reveals identity. Preparing stories for behavioral interview questions evaluated by AI is less about churning through keywords and more about building responses with lexical density. This can be accomplished with introspective symbols.

Symbols like metaphors and common references indicate strengths, interests, and values. Over time, an individual’s identity emerges as a pattern of these elements. They show what individuals pay attention to.

Without symbolism, a narrative can fall flat.

Without identity, it can feel de-personalized.

Together, they transform an individual recollection into something larger than the story being recalled: a life theme.

Conveying this intersubjectivity is not a luxury or extra ornamentation to an interview response. It is increasingly practical and necessary to succeed and design one’s life. Storied Self intends to facilitate this effort in every individual so they can recognize their potential.

Our hope is that interviewees can respond confidently and improvisationally because of an enhanced self-concept and increased self-knowledge.
